Lissa Fahlman DC, MPH is a project manager at MDC

Lissa Fahlman earned a BS in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, a Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Western States, and a Master of Public Health, Epidemiology from the University of South Florida. She has 10 years of clinical experience, including 8 years managing private practices in Oregon and the Eastern Shore of Virginia, a medically underserved area. Her clinics provided diagnostic x-rays and ultrasound as a soft-tissue treatment modality. As the Lead Epidemiologist at the Arthritis Research Institute of America, a private, non-profit, Fahlman led the research team, supervised grad students from USF, oversaw database administration, closed out the 20+ year study, and implemented a healthy lifestyle program focused on managing osteoarthritis symptoms and reducing high blood pressure. Additionally, Fahlman has prior project management experience in public land management with multi-partnered, multi-teamed, politically sensitive and logistically challenging projects.
